We Found ourselves at this lovely couples Robusta Coffee farm. Truly committed to growing a quality bean.

Robusta is grown in mass quantities with a lessor concern for a quality bean.

It also yeilds a higher caffeine level than Arabic coffee.

I Learned a lot on my day at the farm. What I learned the most is that this couple is determined together to grow a good quality robusta bean.

Picked by hand when the bean has ripened leaving the green beans a. little longer. Sifted through numerous times by hand and eye until you have before you the best of the best. A delicate process indeed.
