We had the pleasure of being present at the 2026 Tet School performance put on by 

Truong Thuc Hanh Su Pham high School, Trà Vinh. 

The performance included choreographed dances from each class followed by a fashion show. The clothing from the outfits were made with recycled materials in an effort to raise awareness for the environment. 

It was very impressive to see the efforts that went into the clothing made, the contributions of every single student participating in the day, the excitement and encouragement that each student gave to each other.

Good job to the kids of this school. 

Joined by Grandma (99 years old) and 16 aunties and uncles we crammed into the bus and headed to Can Tho. Can Tho Is a Town three hours away from Emma’s Home town of Tra Vinh. We met with cousins who live there and visited their coffee shop and restaurant. we headed down to the river front for a photo shoot.

Baby Beach is a great place to spend a day. There is a break water by the shore allowing a safe swim. There is plenty of shade to hide from the sun. Im always keeping my eyes open for dinosaurs roaming the ancient mountains off in the distance.

Mount Revelstoke offers some of the best skiing in the Canadian Rocky Mountains. It was a pleasure to ski on this sunny day. The clouds were inverted. It was raining at the bottom of the mountain but sunny at the top !

Camping in the fall time can be the best time to camp in Canada. It’s too cold for the mosquitoes, The campgrounds and not busy as the kids have returned to school. The leaves have turned golden yellow and the weather has become a little more stable. If you can brave the chilly mornings and snuggle in close to keep warm at night your in for a great camping experience.
