Camping in the fall time can be the best time to camp in Canada. It’s too cold for the mosquitoes, The campgrounds and not busy as the kids have returned to school. The leaves have turned golden yellow and the weather has become a little more stable. If you can brave the chilly mornings and snuggle in close to keep warm at night your in for a great camping experience.

Emma and I ventured into Dinosaur Provincial Park in late August to observe the Milky Way at its peak, under a moonless sky. Our goal was to capture a time-lapse of the Milky Way rising over the park’s spectacular hoodoos—and it turned out to be a success.

We had dinner at Patricia’s Bar in the town of Patricia, one of the few remaining places in Saskatchewan where you cook your own steak.

Along the way, we did some hiking and visited the Royal Tyrrell Museum to see some truly incredible dinosaur bones.

We Found ourselves at this lovely couples Robusta Coffee farm. Truly committed to growing a quality bean.

Robusta is grown in mass quantities with a lessor concern for a quality bean.

It also yeilds a higher caffeine level than Arabic coffee.

I Learned a lot on my day at the farm. What I learned the most is that this couple is determined together to grow a good quality robusta bean.

Picked by hand when the bean has ripened leaving the green beans a. little longer. Sifted through numerous times by hand and eye until you have before you the best of the best. A delicate process indeed.

Traveling these rugged paths, you can’t help but feel a quiet sense of wonder—each turn offering a new, breathtaking view of Vietnam’s northern highlands.

New Year’s in Vietnam is filled with warm, joyful moments spent with family. Homes come alive with delicious food, soft laughter, and the glow of festive decorations. Everyone gathers to share stories, honor traditions, and welcome the coming year with hope and gratitude. Whether lighting incense for ancestors or watching fireworks sparkle over the city, the feeling of togetherness makes the celebration truly special.
