Ho Chi Minh City

March 2 – 5 Rest & Tour Ho Chi Minh City

March 2 – Mom and Dad arrive at Ho Chi Minh International airport 12:15AM

We are staying at the New World Saigon Hotel
- Book the room with premier club access. It’s a bit more money but gives you access to good foods and drinks.

March 2

Pool day at the hotel
- after a long travel day its hard to say how we will be feeling. Let’s plan for sitting around the pool, getting massages and relaxing. We are close to lots of action so we can go for a walk anytime we feel like it.

March 3

10am Shopping for traditional Ao Dai
- We will spend a few hours choosing fabrics and getting measured up for some tradition al Vietnamese dress
1pm Lunch and rest
4pm go on a walking tour to ban Than Market
5pm Dinner
7pm Boat Tour of the city lights

Match 4

9am train tour to District 2
- take the train to Thao Dien. Walk to our breakfast spot, Kong Cafe, pedicures, margarita and Mexican food, ice cream to finish.
7pm AO show at the Saigon Opera House.

March 5

March 6 – 9 Wedding in Tra Vinh

March 6

5am prepare for a wild ride.
6am Hold onto your hats. Drive to Emma’s home town, Tra Vinh ( 3 – 4 4 hours south. )
Here is the Hotel we will be staying at in Tra Vinh
10am arive in Tra Vinh and check into the hotel
11am

March 7

Walking tour of Emma’s home Town
Wake up early and go for a jog in the park
Breakfast
Coffee
Go to Pagoda and receive our fortunes for the rest of the year
Go to downtown market place
FInd a place to sit down and watch the locals stare at us as they go about their day !
