Ho Chi Minh City

March 2 – 5 Rest & Tour Ho Chi Minh City

March 2 – Mom and Dad arrive at Ho Chi Minh International airport 12:15AM

  • We are staying at the New World Saigon Hotel
    • Book the room with premier club access. It’s a bit more money but gives you access to good foods and drinks.

March 2

  • Pool day at the hotel
    • after a long travel day its hard to say how we will be feeling. Let’s plan for sitting around the pool, getting massages and relaxing. We are close to lots of action so we can go for a walk anytime we feel like it.

March 3

  • 10am Shopping for traditional Ao Dai
    • We will spend a few hours choosing fabrics and getting measured up for some tradition al Vietnamese dress
  • 1pm Lunch and rest
  • 4pm go on a walking tour to ban Than Market
  • 5pm Dinner
  • 7pm Boat Tour of the city lights

Match 4

  • 9am train tour to District 2
    • take the train to Thao Dien. Walk to our breakfast spot, Kong Cafe, pedicures, margarita and Mexican food, ice cream to finish.
  • 7pm AO show at the Saigon Opera House.

March 5

  • 11 am bus tour around the city
  • 5pm walk through the park and watch the kite flying
  • 7pm dinner

March 6 – 9 Wedding in Tra Vinh

  • Walking tour of Emma’s home Town
  • Wake up early and go for a jog in the park
  • Breakfast
  • Coffee
  • Go to Pagoda and receive our fortunes for the rest of the year
  • Go to downtown market place
  • FInd a place to sit down and watch the locals stare at us as they go about their day !

  • Tour of Me Kong River Delta

  • Drive back to Ho Chi Minh City
